Gulmohar

Every May, just before the monsoon, the gulmohar trees of Mumbai burst into flame. Gulmohar is a triptych of that season: blossoms and fallen petals in violet, green and flame-orange watercolour. Framed as a set of three, it follows the flower from bud to bloom to the petals scattered across the pavement.

हर मई, मानसून से ठीक पहले, मुंबई के गुलमोहर पेड़ आग की तरह खिल उठते हैं। "गुलमोहर" उसी मौसम का त्रिपटिक है: बैंगनी, हरे और अग्नि-नारंगी जलरंगों में फूल और झड़ी पंखुड़ियाँ। तीन फ़्रेमों का यह सेट फूल को कली से खिलने तक, और फिर फ़ुटपाथ पर बिखरी पंखुड़ियों तक ले जाता है।

Chaque mois de mai, juste avant la mousson, les flamboyants de Mumbai s’embrasent. Gulmohar est le triptyque de cette saison : fleurs et pétales tombés en aquarelle violette, verte et orange feu. Encadré en série de trois, il suit la fleur du bouton à l’éclosion, puis aux pétales éparpillés sur le trottoir.

في كل شهر مايو، قبيل موسم الأمطار، تشتعل أشجار «غولموهار» في مومباي بألوانها. «غولموهار» ثلاثية لذلك الموسم: أزهار وبتلات متساقطة بألوان مائية بنفسجية وخضراء وبرتقالية كاللهب. مؤطرة كمجموعة من ثلاث، تتبع الزهرة من البرعم إلى التفتح، ثم إلى البتلات المتناثرة على الرصيف.
